Born in the Navy SEALs, Suspension Training bodyweight exercise develops strength, fitness, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously.
What equipment is used?
The TRX suspension Trainer is a highly portable performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user's body weight to complete hundreds of exercises.
How easy is it?
You’re in control of how much you want to challenge yourself. You can easily adjust your position to add or decrease resistance, depending on your fitness and comfort.
We keep our classes small in order to ensure so everyone can get the individual attention they need.
We also offer one-on-one sessions at our Grey Lynn studio for those wanting a more personalised approach to training.
This class is taught at a slower pace as there is an emphasis on proper technique and execution throughout the session.
You can expect to leave a class feeling “worked” yet relaxed.
Clients will combine their own body weight with spring resistance allowing for fluid movements that activate the core while training all areas of the body. Clients must have previous experience on the reformer or complete a one on one.
This class enables those recovering from injury who are currently working with one of our physiotherapists to have supervised access to the full compliment of Pilates equipment in our Grey Lynn studio and gym.
Spaces are limited to ensure all participants have quality supervision.
Group Equipment Class
We take your training personally. We believe everybody should experience the joy to move and exercise, achieve their goals and feel amazing.
